Scholarship Opportunities in the UK

Detailed below are university scholarships that will be open for application for Maldivian students.

Please note that while some are full scholarships inclusive of the full tuition fee, accommodation, living expenses and flights, others are full-fee scholarships only and will cover the student’s full tuition fee, and a number are part-scholarships which will act as a contribution towards the tuition fee payment, with the student being required to pay the remainder of the fee.

Additionally, while some scholarships are more tailored towards Maldivians and Small Island Nations, a number of scholarships detailed below are targeted towards a broader international audience; students are therefore likely to face more competition for these scholarships.

There are also some postgraduate scholarships listed below for those interested in postgraduate study.

Please also note that this document is not a comprehensive list of all scholarships available for international students in the UK. Should you wish to undertake further research on scholarships for international students, it is advised that you do so prior to sending your UCAS application form.
