High Commissioner of Maldives meets Vice-Chancellor of University of Warwick
High Commissioner Dr. Faizal visited the University of Warwick today.
The High Commissioner was welcomed by Professor Nigel Thrift, Vice-Chancellor and was given a tour of facilities of the university.
The High Commissioner and Vice-Chancellor discussed scholarship opportunities for Maldivian students and fostering further links between the university and the Maldives.
High Commissioner Dr. Faizal also met with Maldivian students studying at University of Warwick.
The High Commissioner was accompanied by Ms. Catherine Russell.

Kosovan President thanks the Maldives for recognising Kosovo's independence
At a meeting held today in Kuala Lumpur during President Nasheed's ongoing visit to Malaysia, Kosovo's President Dr Fatmir Sejdiu has thanked the government of the Maldives for being one of the first countries to recognise Kosovo’s independence.
