High Commissioner departs London on official trip to Male'
High Commissioner Dr. Faizal departed London on an official trip to Male', today.
The High Commissioner is visiting Male' to participate in functions held on the occasion of the official inaugural of British Airways direct flights to the Maldives.
British Airways started flying directly to the Maldives on 25 October 2009.

At a meeting held today in Kuala Lumpur during President Nasheed's ongoing visit to Malaysia, Kosovo's President Dr Fatmir Sejdiu has thanked the government of the Maldives for being one of the first countries to recognise Kosovo’s independence.
