High Commissioner attends the evening reception hosted by Her Majesty the Queen
High Commissioner Dr. Faizal attended the annual evening reception hosted by Her Majesty the Queen tonight.
The reception was held at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps based in London and other distinguished guests. Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the Royal family attended the event.
From the High Commission, the reception was also attended by Mr. Naushad Waheed, Deputy High Commissioner and his spouse, Mrs. Aishath Hussain.

At a meeting held today in Kuala Lumpur during President Nasheed's ongoing visit to Malaysia, Kosovo's President Dr Fatmir Sejdiu has thanked the government of the Maldives for being one of the first countries to recognise Kosovo’s independence.
